Other Orbits is Pee-wee’s Playhouse meets the UN Summit in a camp science fiction extravaganza. Mutant creatures gather at an interplanetary council meeting and struggle to get their voices heard and their needs met. Will collective decision-making succeed? Can the planet speak for itself? Who will judge the karaoke contest? Will they even get through the agenda?! This truly unforgettable, 360-degree experience transports audiences to another world where larger-than-life aliens and sentient plants and machines stop being polite and start getting real.
What is Other Orbits?
Other Orbits is a multi-modal serial performance piece running from 2021-2023 with episodes in many different formats, from a radio station to a tabletop role-playing game to a comic book, all telling an epic story of ecological reckoning and cultural survival that will culminate in a live performance in the Spring of 2023.
When, where, and how to “watch” Other Orbits.
You can buy tickets for each individual episode of Other Orbits, or for a limited time you can buy subscription packs of three episodes at a time. If you are buying a ticket or a subscription for episodes that have already been released, then you will receive immediate access to those episodes and/or the episode will be sent to you right away (see delivery details for specific episodes below). If you are buying a ticket or a subscription for episodes that have yet to be released, then you will gain access to the episode on the launch date (see delivery details for specific episodes below). Worried that you’re late to the game? Don’t be! This epic journey exists both in and out of time. Pick an episode that suits your fancy and enjoy the ride!
All tickets for Other Orbits are offered on a sliding scale to promote access and affordability. The ticket website will present you with up to three possible ticket prices, and you can pick what price you will pay for the episode(s). Higher ticket prices go towards subsidizing the lower ticket prices, so we thank you in advance for considering supporting access to the show!
